Most dogs follow a ritual just before eliminating. Your task is to learn to "read" your dog. To help you with this task, here are the signs you should pay attention to:
• Your puppy whimpers;
• She runs around in circle;
• She sniffs intently the floor, carpet, ground in a quest for the right spot!
• She paces restlessly;
• She scratches the door that leads to her elimination zone;
• She moves away from the playing area;
At the moment you see any of these behaviors, stop whatever you are doing, put her leash on and take her outside to her elimination zone or inside to her toilet stop. If she starts peeing, interrupt her by saying a firm "outside" or "toilet" and then take her to the EZ or TS.
